Group Member Roles


Each PLN member should assume responsibility for a role. If your group has less than 5 people, share the extra role’s responsibilities amongst yourselves.

Organizer: Controls how the information is presented. This includes the order of information (what is first, second, etc. on the page) and the information format (be it paragraphs, lists, or a combination).

Editor: Checks for errors (both writing conventions and technical issues), makes error revisions, adds missing content, edits the navigation bar.

Page Designer: Applies consistent design formatting (fonts, colors, point size, alignment, etc.) to all pages; works with Image Expert for graphic placement.

Image Expert: Finds and adds relevant graphics to all pages; works with Page Designer for graphic placement.

Wikilinker: Adds 10+ internal and/or external links to all pages.

Researcher/Writer: All members assume this role (see Assignment Process for more information). This is in addition to the other roles described above.
